aircore plus spectra- where are you?

Sorry if this has already been asked...was wondering if anyone knows where else to find this rope. It's been out of stock at BPL for like a month now.

Have you ever seen it IN stock? I have not. There are a few items over there that i have wanted to buy for like a year and they are always out of stock. I am over it now though. Amsteel 7/64 for hammocks and orange Mason line for tarps is about all i need these days.

I have a full 50' roll of AirCore Plus. The trick to buying at BPL is to get things when they are initially in stock, whether you need them or not. Now I have enough for several Whoopie Slings. I bought it 09/13/2007.

get samson "zing it" instead, it comes in 1.75 or 2mm and is probably cheaper. the smallest quantity is 180' i think. look for it where arborist/tree work supplies are sold.

zing-it is yellow, lash-it is grey

I havent seen it in stock come to think of it. If they arent going to offer it than they need to NOT advertise it IMO

I too have been looking for an alternative to Aircore. I found on ebay (I am no way affiliated or know the seller in any way) some spectra chord being sold. It is in between the Aircore Plus and Aircore 2 size. It is being sold by the 4 foot segments. Has 500 lb breaking strength.

Just wanted to let everyone know. I have never ordered from this seller.

I use the gray stuff for tarp ties.
