Does anyone know of hanging opportunities in the Tidewater area?

First Landing State Park at Virginia Beach offers some fine hanging sites individual or group. Here's a pic of one area from the weekend just after Thanksgiving. They have shuttered the campground until March 1 but it would be a pleasant place then.

I'm looking forward to moving to the NNK and finding new hangs. So far I've only done MAHHA Pine Grove and NOVA hangs (Bull Run and PWNF). See you in the spring.

I have a place we could hang but it would be roughing it no bathroom facalities. It would be halfway between richmond and va beach.

What a nice day today in Central Virginia! Anyone hanging this Christmas day? Please post picts. I am recovering from surgery and need to hang vicariously at the moment.

I unfortunately just took the hammock down. Cooking duties overrule hammocks. I'm in Florida though where it's always a nice day.
