I have a new KAQ in my hands, and don't have a clue how to hang it, on either my Speer or Claytor.
Someone help this dimmy, please.

Not that I've ever held a KAQ in my hand, but my quilts (for speer type hammocks at least) have little ribbon loops on all 4 corners.
I have no idea what you were sent with your quilt.
I use shock cord, cord locks, and mini carabiners for my quilt suspension.
The green blob is the hammock (with cheery yellow whipping). The grey is my hammock suspension.
The yellow blobs are the cord locks on the shock cord (I had to tie a knot in the middle of my shock cord to get it long enough - oops!).
I feed shock cord through the suspension at each end of the hammock then clip the carabiners to the loops on the quilt.

PM sent.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
Here are instructions for one of the first prototypes...I don't think much changed for the later models.

He has the New River model. Tie the shock cord loops to each end of the hammock right about where the hammock knot is. Use a simple prussic with just one loop through. Attach the carabiners to the grosgrain looops on each corner. If the quilt is not tight enough, you can shorten the shock cords until it is right. Once you have it right then you can close up each end with the cordlocks.

OH YEAH!! Forgot you had taken over KAQ and added some features. One of the drawbacks of my current job is less time to keep up with all the developments in the hammocking world!
