    Shipping to Canada....

Anyone in Canada ever ordered one yet? Is there a way around paying duties and tax?

Would it be possible to mark the package as a gift or of lesser value?

Sometimes I hate Canada. We pay 12.5% tax on everything here in Quebec. With the exchange, I'd hate to pay even more just to get my hands on one. Although it is still tempting anyways

This is in the Warbonnet section, so presumably a BlackBird?

While the idea of avoiding taxes is tempting, I don't think a public discussion of that is wise. Perhaps you can contact the manufacturer directly.

Oops, yes this was meant for a BB order.

I guess publicly isn't the best idea, hopefully noone works for the IRS here

I've had items ship from the US to Canada before but they usually tax based off the information provided by the sender.

    I'll take it offline.

    Thanks all.

There shouldn't be any duties if the package and documents say that the item was manufactured in the USA. We have something called a freetrade agreement.
However, there will probably be GST and PST though.

I received my BB (here in Vancouver, BC) sent through regular mail with appropriate information posted on the waybill and received no bill for additional taxes or duties.

If you go with something like UPS, they will ding you additional monies ($20, I think) for "Import services".

Use a quality combined courrier/p.o. box service based in New York for Quebec. I have one in Sault Ste Marie michigan. They are awesome. They sign for items and hold them for up to 6 months. I do find that you usually have to write to most places you want to buy from in the US and explain before they will ship to P.O. boxes.

How you get the items across the border is your own business. Many of these couriers offer several options.
