Received my order from Ripstop By The Roll. I plan on making a some tarp doors and a gathered end hammock.
My goal for the hammock is to have a no net, reasonably light weight and as comfy as I can get hammock.
I can decide if I should just make a simple square platform gathered end or a trapezoid/parellelogram w/footbox (similar to TZBrown's idea - https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...k-with-Footbox).
It will definitely be a double layer 1.1 oz because this will improve the use of a pad for added insulation when needed, and I think be more comfortable than single 1.9. I'm also thinking of using a structural ridge line.
Any thoughts or recommendations on a gathered end hammock design?
