Not on the recent part of this topic, but I'm using foam, pool toy noodles to cushion my SpeerJack pipe stand indoors. There is foam pipe insulation if pool toys are not in season.

I sleep indoors in my hammock now and I love it. I installed two eye bolts (into the studs) and keep a good sag. I use a top quilt and a body pillow, sleep on my side and I am out like a light. I even downloaded outdoor sounds for that camping feel. I can see how it might take some of the fun out of camping but it's nice to know you're going to get a get a great night sleep no matter what.
A few pictures of my gathered end REI hammock 102" X 64" I found a set of eyelets with hooks on them from my junk collection in the barn. Made sure they where centered on studs and whabam took the old bed out and now I sleep way better. I busted my pelvis in three places when I was 16. A normal bed puts to much pressure onto my hip, a hammock solved that.

I see one of the bolts next to the window - is that because there would be a build, several 2 x 4's in a row there? If that were the case, I'd be a little concerned about getting the bolt between two pieces. But I suppose if you are following sheet rock nails, you'd be in the center of something.
You address my concern, hitting the stud in the center.
Do you have a method for finding the center, other than making a few holes with a small nail to find the edges?
I do the same thing! couple of eye bolts into the studs in the bedroom and the living room. I use the Amok in the dining room when grandkids spend the night , my Clark in the bedroom to sleep and if I want to relax and just watch TV I hang my go outfitters go camp hammock in the living room. Oh did I forget the ENO jungle nest on the back porch?
I have a stud finder but I never found it to be accurate enough. I just had to break down and turn my wall into swiss cheese with a tiny 1/32" drill bit. That was I was 100% certain of the center. Use the stud finder to get close, then find the edges with the small drill bit. Very easy to fix holes that small with some filler and paint.
I went to Home Depot and bought a stud finder with a digital readout. It showed me the edge of the stud (marked it with a pencil), and true center. The stud finder has options for finding VAC wires if you plan to drill through walls, hang things, etc.
I want to say the unit cost me c:$25.00. It was worth it. I found the edges from both directions, located true center, drilled a pilot hole, then a bigger one. The mounts are very sturdy and held me up nicely. I used the indoor hang because the hot and humid Florida weather is brutal during the summer, but I still want to hang. Now I hang indoors.
