Seam Seal question

I’ve made several tarps and a tipi in the past with 1.1 sil-nylon and seam sealed it with 100% Silicon Sealant & Mineral Sprits. I’ve seam sealed the outside, the inside or sometimes both. My question is what side of the Ridgeline is the best side to seam seal?

I find I always do both inside and out ...... a few coats to be sure.
No leaks ever there so far......
