Well, that is not necessarily true. He may not want to use a 1.1oz DWR while bushwhacking or maybe a thruhike.
Yes, technically one is enough. Although, I have my Hennessy for multiple, sequential overnights when I need the netting, fly and comfort, Byer mosikto for backyard reading when it is buggy (it stays up all summer tied up to the ridgeline under the tarp), and homemade for overnight when there are no bugs or for long day hike when I may want to take a break for a while. I would rather rest in a hammock than sit on the ground. Ok, so I made one for everyone in my family, too. I don't feel like sharing and we have lots of trees.

OK, now you are confusing me.
"Too many hammocks"
"One is enough"
What do these phrases mean?
I get the individual words, but putting them together confuses me, Help!
One drinking cup is enough, too. But I still like to have more than one. Big ones, little ones, special ones...
When you start considering giving the kids away so you have enough room to store your hammocks, you might have too many. Maybe. Depends on your kids.
“Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.” ~Judge Joseph Story
