    Hyperlight

    Hey everyone...

Does anyone out there have any experience with the Hennessy Hammock Hyperlight...

Do you feel like it would be good for a guy that is 6' tall and 200 lbs..

Thanks for any and all information...

You're at both the height and weight limit of the Hyperlight. I think that would compromise comfort and fit but have no first hand experience.

Yep, that's practically me. I'm 5'11" and 195 lbs. My Hyperlite is a little cramped compared to my buddy's HH Expedition. I'm seriously considering the WBBB.

I bought the hyperlite and quickly sold it because it was too cramped for me. I am 6'1" and around 190. I got the Ultralight expedition and it was much more comfortable. I am now making a DIY blackbird though.

I'm 5'8'/165 and the hyperlite is okay for me. A BPUL seams to sag a bit less for me. I'd say you'd be happier with a Blackbird, it'll weigh more, but you aren't a little guy so you can carry it.

Twenty-three years ago my wife and I went backpacking. She was so miserable in the tent that we hiked back to the car same night and she hasn't been out with me since.

This evening, she crawled inside my Hyperlite. She said that it is so comfortable that she will get into shape for hiking and go out with me if she can use the hammock. This means that I will get a new hammock and new hiking partner. It is the best birthday present ever!

Congrats!! My wife is my hiking buddy as well, & can't be beat!
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.
