Hey guys.
Got a lot of feedback on the recent Indian Caves hang that folks wanted me to get started on a Jan KC area hang. So...dates?
Standard Woodridge run...have a couple of newer folks that want to check/test out new gear...this is the place to do so
Thoughts?
I'm pretty much open to any dates, there is another MO hang on the 10th and 11th of January though.
So...going to suggest either of the following weekends. The 17th-18th, or the 24th-25th. Weasel probably won't be able to attend any of these, since he's both in school and doing his internship on the weekends. We'll see where my job search has led as well, but let's try to get something on the books.
I will be going to the Minnesota frozen butt hang the weekend of the 17th and 18th so the weekend of the 24th and 25th would work better for me.

Being new to backpacking and hammocking would like to make this hang to lessen my learning curve!
Football season will be over so I should be able to attend.
Cool...I'll definitely be ready to get back out in the woods for this run. This will be a car camping run for sure, so for those that haven't hung in the winter, it's a great time to test out gear and have your backup plan in the trunk of the car if needed! I'll probably have a bag of 'extra gear' that I'm purging since we're moving sometime soon, I'll bring it out with me to share!
Hey guys - I would very much like to make this outing. I got the bulk of my gear last year and have been out on two backpacking trips so far both in moderate temperatures. I've been wanting to see at what temps my diy TQ and UQ will reasonably perform and this sounds like a great opportunity to test things out. Count me in.
Owl have you decided on the best date yet?
