3 season or 4 season set... Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm a cold sleeper, and currently have a kelty cosmic 20f that I sleep in with an old big agnes pad.

The 20f bag with a barely inflated pad is the bare minimum for me to stay warm in the low 40's high 30's weather that I'm willing to camp in.

It's also a big pain to get in and out of the bag, as I'm a 6'2" guy built like a linebacker.

I'm pretty sold on Jacks-R-Better as being the solution for my hammock camping.

I'm really torn between the 3 season set or the 4 season set.

Also... I was not on the newsletter list, and I missed the free shipping coupon code. Anyone care to hook me up?

If you want to do winter hammocking I'd get the 4 season UQ. A 4 season UQ will work for both 3 and 4 season stuff. Regarding your top insulation, if you were farther south you might be able to use your 20 degree bag if you wear extra clothes to bed and get some insulation for your feet. Seeing that you're from MI, you'll probably need a 0 degree TQ as well.

I just looked through the newsletters I received from them, and it does mention the free shipping, but no corresponding code that you have to use for it. As far as deciding between 3 and 4 and you being a cold sleeper, go with the 4 season set it you can afford it. The Jacks products are great and you won't be disappointed.
