No issues/complaints from me- A 4x9 and several bridges in various sizes so far.
I even poked a hole in one of the bridges on accident- 6 nights on it and it never got bigger or failed.
I weigh 210lbs.

Here's some more pics. After hanging today with a non-slipping ridgeline I can feel a difference in the shoulder squeeze. It is still there, but minor. I'm going to play around with it more to see if I can find the optimal length. I'll probably breakdown and make an adjustable one with the zing-it so I can really fine tune it.

Notice the pin I used for my marlin spike...it got squished from the compression on the knot.
I used the same fabric and went with channels. 3 rows. No issues with it showing wear 11' long.
My hd1.0 thread:

Well I took out the whip/knot and added one more stitch to the channel. I hung in it for a bit just from the channel this evening and didn't see any signs of stress on the fabric or stitching. Probably too soon to tell but I think I'll stick with just using the channel and monitor. Will post if I do have issues.
Didn't notice a difference in the hang but I really didn't have much time to test as it started raining so I packed up.
Anybody else have any long term testing on a 1.0 hyper D hammock in the 200# range? Would really like a lighter hammock just worried about it holding.
Everything I've read says single layer 1.0 HD will hold 200# no problem. It definitely stretches, but the stretch is more with the width of the fabric than the length and it is not alot of stretch. Not sure if that makes sense or not. The diamond pattern is like this <>...and stretches along the north/south vertices of the diamond pattern. Not so much stretch w/e.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I have some material to order!
Thanks for this discussion. You've convinced me to go a little longer with the new UL I plan, from 9 to 10 feet.
But I like that original knot you had. Learned from another thread that one can hang UQ suspension from it.

Awesome. If you are planning on knotting the end, make sure you take into account about 6 inches loss in length. So if you want 10 start w/ 10.5. Good luck I'm sure you'll like the material.
