Thanks for starting this thread. I just made a HyperD hammock and It is amazing stuff. Love the feel of the fabric. I only did a single row of stitches on the channel, so think I will go back and add another row. I use a plastic tie wrap to gather the ends of the hammock, then lark's head the Whoopie Sling onto the hammock. I have 4 other tablecloth hammocks that I have made with 2 rows of stitching and the tie wraps are working great…but didn't think that the lighter weight fabric would need more stitching as well…doh! lol I am only 120 lbs tho….that might make a bit of difference.

My pleasure and agree on the comfiness of the fabric. Sounds to me you are basically whipping your ends so I doubt any extra rows are needed as the bunched material is what is supporting your weight. Only reason I went with 3 rows is because I'm opting to hang with just the channel.

Also. I think I need a SRL length of 97-99. I just played around with it and felt very comfortable in those ranges. Very little squeeze on the shoulder side where my feet are with these lengths. That has been the main problem all along. Don't think I've had or have problems with knee hyperextension. My body feels very flat all the way across. The material on the head side forms almost a ledge that I can rest my head on. Very nice.

I don't have a continuous loop going through the hammock channels. I actually did a locked Brummel on either end of the amsteel. That way its just one cord instead of two going in an out of the channel. I didn't do this for any reason other than to do it.
