Just FYI, we are at 14 for the MeetnGreet and 4 for the hang. The meal poll is currently running in favor of
"campfire cooking" but, I suppose we could always do a combination of the two.
Weather forcast is holding for sunny and cold.
Just a thought, does anyone have a large tent, with a stove, which we could use for a "warm up tent" near the cooking area? I mean, my cottage is there but an outdoor tent might be more ....I dunno..."outdoors?" Just musing here.

I just wanted to take a moment to wish Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone on the thread. I hope everyone has a safe, happy and joyous holiday season and I am looking forward meeting you all in January!

Ok, last night I spoke with John Gresham (Gresh), of Palmetto State Hangers. We talked about the trials and tribulations they have gone through in establishing themselves as a group and they have offered knowledge and assistance to us. It is up to us how formal of a group/club/ what not we wish to be. I know some of us have been discussing this and we shall be doing so some more at the MeetnGreet. Gresh has agreed to be available to talk with us by phone, if we have any questions that afternoon. Thank you Gresh.
