3 of us spent the weekend in Finland, looking for the area the Frozen Butt Hang is, not sure if we ever found it or if we were set up exactly where it is. Doesn't matter, we had fun and enjoyed the area. Giving it that name ensured we had nice weather. Mostly sunny and daytime temps in the low to mid 30's, one night we got down to 10* with 10mph wind, the last night we had a low of 19* with almost no wind.
We hiked around in a couple inches of snow, snow shoes never got used. We had just enough snow to pull our pulks, thankfully. We saw one set of wolf tracks going along the trail and heard a few wolves maybe 2 miles from us one night.
It was good to get out and meet other hangers, and hang out!
