I got the complete system, in the end opted for the standard FOB so i could get it in time for my birthday (the ultra lite had a loooooooooong order time on it). Told Tony you sent me, he talked me out the second window due to balance ratio - I reckon he was so busy with orders he couldn't face another custom

Not sure what a "balance issue" is. Mine works fine.

    Yeah, I get that mate.
Like I said - could be a time thing but then, you know what engineers are like with their products!

Curious, looking at his video when he gets in the hammock, his upper body seems to be resting on the bugnet, suggesting a narrow hammock body. Was wondering why no tree straps on his suspension, alot of us come from states that require them, as ropes in the past have caused hammocks to be banned from state parks. Also, what's unique about this hammock? All the other 2 layer hammocks I've seen take a sleeping pad, the tarp seems pretty original looking, but what sets the hammock apart?

For me, what sets it apart is the ease of set up, the unique set up system and the four season rating.

I'm still awaiting mine as UK customs are currently holding it to ransom and demanding I pay an obsorbeten tax price collect due - circa $123. Honestly the government should be wearing ski masks!

How, exactly, is any hammock "4 season"?

The name suggests that it can be used all by itself without any help at all in all 4 seasons---just as a 4 season sleeping bag would be.

But this hammock needs exactly the same thing as any double layer hammock would: either a pad or an underquilt.

Sarge vining, I have neither the time nor the interest in getting into a debate about this, perhaps someone else will pick this up with you.
    Regards

Finally picked it up today from the Sorting Office.
Set it up - went up in minutes, tarp included and looks great.

Question, don't want to get the suggested Ridgerest as I don't have the space - too bulky for me.
I have a couple of inflating mats which i use for my other hammocks.

What mats do others use please?

    Cheers
