    Diy winterizing my hammock...So far

    So far this is what i come up with...

    First layer cheap old blue foam pad Length shoulders to back of knees..

    Second layer is a 20 degree High peak mummy bag from Sirius

    The a 40 degree coleman sleeping bag that i unstitched the bottom of the zipper to allow the hammock to pass thew kinda top quilt and bottom combo

    I do know that i need to get some shock cord for the head of the out side of the bag to pull it up!!

    Here's the question, what do you think about it? does it keep you warm and comfortable? when I'm trying to get my gear colder than I should expect...my set up looks very familiar. enjoy...

    Well i set it up about 10 this am prob about 60 65 degrees out climbed in it with in about 10 mins i was sweating lol i will need to get some shock cord for the opening of the outside bag to hold it closer to my hammock on the bottom..
    i am planing to sleep in it tonight for a try out
