I have one. Like the support in my hammock but still easy to pack.

When I use a pillow, it's an Exped UL air pillow Like this one.
Most of the time I don't bother with a pillow though.

Another +1 for the cub its small but works great in the hammock

GooseFeet Gear is on my wish list https://goosefeetgear.com/products/3-down-pillows
So if somebody want to order here in the Netherlands ! Let me know. Then we can combine the shipping costs.
+1 on the Cub - the perfect size for my rather large head! I have several different others including the Black Rock and the Cub always gets packed every time. I used it this past weekend on an overnighter in N. GA on the AT (Blue Mt shelter) for watching the meteor showers and it was perfection!

I like my exped inflatable--it is just the right size, but it is noisy.
I have switched to a Zpacks pillow stuff sack which works equally well at almost 0 additional weight.
I had a cub and an HG down pillow, but I got one of Jared's at Simply Light Designs and absolutely love it!! The cub was a little on the small side.... Down from HG compresses too much, and synthetic from SLD is perfect size and loft.
I've struggled with pillows because a hammock, unless its a bridge style, usually doesn't completely lay flat -- and that little bit of curvature means that your head needs less support from a pillow -- and it only needs the support under the neck in my case. I've used a down sweater, stuffed up under my neck (I actually liked this method -- but after being on a trail for a few days I was getting worried about the grit and grime build up). Failures, IMHO, have been using a soft flexible water bottle (too cold) and an inflatible travel pillow (too wide to support just under my neck). My most recent expiriment is using Medline Crutch Pillows that go on the top ends of a crutch to provide padding for the ribs and armpits when using crutches. So far, these have been the best and most comfortable -- and since my son was on crutches a couple of months back, we were trying to figure out where to store them for when the next kid breaks something and has to use crutches . Problem solved. They have a fleece outer, polyurethane foam inner, and are super light. Mine even fits inside my ridgeline organizer pocket, so it doesn't need to be stored seperately.
