'Organising the chaos' stuff sack

So in an effort to avoid loosing little niknaks I've made a stuff sack that can be opened up fully so nothing needs to be removed and placed on a tree stump for the next backpacker to find.

Its just a big old circle with a ripstop channel around the edge, easy. I was actually inspired by a make-up bag on pinterest, hopefully it will be a bit of use to some of you hangers too. I promise not to judge should it be used for makeup because, frankly, some of you lot are in need of a touch up :-P

BTW anyone know how to sew a neat folded over seam on a tight bend? It's infuriating!! I know I should get my serger on it but I do not yet know how to thread it, but I digress..

Carpet supplied by the 80s viewer discretion is advised

Gonna make it in white too so's I can put my SunLight lamp in it and use it as a lampshade.

Very cool. I really like your concept. I use a zippered travel bag like this one for the same purpose. I like that it's way too large and semi-transparent. I can unzip it about halfway to dig around for little stuff and still know that the zipper is going to keep everything in. The lay flat concept is great - good stuff!

Awesome. I've seen these used for other purposes, but never thought to use it in the backpack.

Ah I didn't know those bags opened up like that, it's probably a better/ lighter method than mine. I've never really looked at them properly as they are expensive for so little. I may make one as I was just Googling zippers as I'm going to make a quilt shell with a zipper on it to stuff with down to sell as a shell only,could prove a handy skill
