There is something so primal, and comforting about sleeping in a rain storm. I always keep my bedroom windows open to hear the rain, and I recieve the deepest sleep I've ever experienced (on a mattress). I love to go out in my patio and smoke a cigar and drink a glass of wine, under the porch, during the heaviest downpours. Very relaxing.

We just had some really good rain on our last trip. It was the most I ever had camping. Stayed super dry and even the ground under us was dry enough to sit on. Love the tarps!
    Have fun

It is stupendous to be right out in the rain and watch it bounce off of leaves and plants as you rest in the hammock snug and dry.....

I enjoy hammocking in the rain except....when the acorns are falling too! Sounds like firecrackers! Now if they would fall in rhythm you'd have some entertainment.

you can have the rain to hike in. My last trip it rain for 7 hrs while we were hiking. The trails were ankle deep with water and flowing like streams.

Oh thats right ya'll just like to camp in the rain instead of hiking

As soon as I heard there was rain in the forecast for this weekend I immediately made plans to take myself out into the woods tomorrow night!
