    Any other suggestions on staying dry? being wet and cold doesn't mix very well!!! do you guys have problems with rain blowing in the ends of the tarp? how do you fix that?

    If the wind shifts, you can try closing the end of your tarp, if possible. The best situation is to set up broadside to the prevailing wind, so the rain just hits the side of your tarp.

    I will say closing the tarp would be alot better than what i was thinking!! Garbage bags on the end of the hammock! haha I guess i would have figured the tarp thing out. Probably would have come only after a wet night! thanks for not letting me learn a lesson the hard way!!!!
