Is neat sheet a molded fabric?

Making a set of neat sheet under quilt(s) plus over quilt
with foot box and shoulder hugging option.

Is neat sheet a molded fabric ? Can't tell if it is woven or knit.

Both regular and ballpoint needles poke thru fabric about the same
when held by hand. ( Pulling machine out of storage tonight. )

Following headchange4u's tutorial on neat sheet multi-quilt.

Have two large 90"x114" and one regular 57"x77".

Contemplating making one single layer UQ and one doubled, two layered UQ.
( That will actually be four layers since neat sheets are two layers.)

Any thoughts on the double layer?

The neat sheet is non-woven. Either kind of needle would be ok with the neat sheet. It's only knits where the ballpoint is specifically called for. I would probably still use a sharp or universal point rather than true ball point but that's just becuase that's what I have.
