    Tarpworms now available at Dutchwaregear.com

I developed a new tarp tensioner and connector called the Tarpworm. Some friends challenged me to make a connector for the tie outs that was easy to use, included a tensioner and had no sharp edges. I personally have been a big fan of the marlin spike hitch for staking out but I think I have that beat now. I also liked the prussic on zing it but it took for ever to splice a complete set. Well now here is something so simple your are about to smack your forehead. It is a simple piece of aluminum specially shaped with 2 holes in it. it uses the same Speed Hook technology so it holds tight until you want to release it. When you do want to release it it is a simple pull of the excess cord. I am introducing these at $2.50 a piece. you can add 6 foot of zing it or lash it with a loop spliced on one side and back spliced on the other for an additional $3.50. However I think the best way to use it is to use Lawson reflective cord with it. My typical tarp connectors were not able to use the reflective cord but the Tarpworms work even better with it. How do you like the name? Made by Dutchware and of course Made in the USA.

I just saw the video on YouTube, and came here real quick to see if you'd announced them yet. Nice.

Definitely be on my next order.

Cowardly, I say, just cowardly, that you didn't call them Dutch Worms.

Ha. I laughed too hard at that.

Pretty sweet Dutch. Keep up the innovation.

Definitely buying a set of these when I recover from my Christmas spending.

Is there a reason you recommend the Lawson cord over the Zing-It/Lash-It?
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
