Just looking into buying wider trees straps and been looking around on strapworks. Just wondering if the light weight polypropylene webbing is working out and if this is what people have been referencing as the 4' lightweight 2" huggers... thanks ~Cnugget

If we had something like 2 in mule tape seems it would be ideal. Super wide, super strong, and super light! Anyone ever try to sew two pieces side by side?

From what I've heard.. sounds like mule tape snags on trees a fair amount. It might not be quite the right material to be made up into 2 inch straps? I have had it snag on my factory continuous loop made out of webbing(the melted poly ends) often enough for me to look at replacing the CL. I like mule tape for suspension adjustment but for straps ...perhaps kevlar stitched would work and be as light or lighter me thinks... but that just me thinkin and not provin anything..

You're not going to get there with mule tape. Mule tape is specifically designed for pulling wire through conduit so the design criteria include as low a cross-sectional area as possible. They don't make it in wide and thin. You could try that with 1" kevlar, that stitches quite well.
