HENNESY Suspension Mod, need help please.

Hello, I am new to the Hammock world, I have a Henessy exp asym zip,
I just ordered a bunch of dutchware bling.
My goal is to ditch the stock suspension, and replace it with some amsteel rope, using a whoopie sling set up,
I have seen many videos on youtube of people making this mod, but I plan to swap out my stock suspension with a continuous loop.
I have not been able to find any videos on the best way to attach it, and seeking assistance.
My gear should be arriving soon from Dutchware, I have whoppie hooks on order that will allow me to attache the continuous loop to the whoopie slings.

just need help to figure out best way to attach the continuous loop.
    thanks.

If you have a recently new HH. They switched over to a loop that they tie the rope suspension to. In that case, all you have to do is larkshead the amsteel loop to it and your done To get to the end of the hammock you will need to remove the cover sleeve back for the end of the hammock. It should have a zip tie you will need to cut off.Attach your new suspension on and you can slide the sleeve back over it and attach it with a new zip tie.

There should be some vids here if you do a search. I'll see if I can find some and attach it later. The old style HH's have 2 holes that need you to wrap the loop 3 times then finish off the larkshead.

    I've swapped over 2 Hennesy's so far - it's not too difficult.

Where in Vancouver are you? Perhaps I can show you what I did with my set-up

Do you have any splicing experience yet?

Hey Thanks so much for the info, I live downtown west end, I have had this hammock for about 7 months have not taken it apart yet to see what style it is old or new, don't have any splicing exp yet but, have been studding you tube videos and have ordered a bunch of stuff from dutchware. I would like to see your system, I m very new to hammiocking but have rock climbing experience which helps a bit. my overall goal is to make a system as light as I can, i have plans to build a ridge line and rejig my hennesy also, I am very excited to be loosing the weight of the original lines and 2x beaners, 4 x rappel rings. i have been woring on making a lightweight over hiking system for a while, its become a real obsession, I have most gear sorted out, just need to fiix the hammovk up and then start to focus on dehydtrated food and light weight food ideas. if you are interested in swappin ideas I would like to show off my inline gravity fed water filtration creation, it's very coool, easy and light
