Well designed and executed tarp Shug.

I really appreciate you showing us how your getting it done with a tried and true 7 yo tarp and not chasing the latest, greatest gear. Sometimes I fall in the trap of spending more time hunting down new gear than getting out and using what I got.

    pretty awesome....
I don't know why the way you rigged up your tarp doors to velcro shut or the tops to open for ventilation isnt seen at any of the cottage shops.
    Seems like a smart idea.

Shugapedia- very fitting! And the "Stay warm my friend" from Hawk-Eye made me think of that Dos Equis commercial with the worlds most mysterious man or whatever.

in winter do you sleep diagonal? seems the jacket would not cover feet unless you sleep straight?

The doors are really well planned out for being your first try at them, well done. the tabs and strings and extra velcro at the top, its amazing you remembered it all, great job.

For sure I sleep on a diagonal. Plenty of room as it goes from mid shin to feet.

Great video Shug, I always feel like I gain knowledge while watching you. As we get very little snow in Arkansas I just have to live my snowy hammock camping dreams through you.
I have a question that's a little off topic. It's about the UQ with pad in TQ.
I'm curious what to do about condensation with your feet. I have a HG incubator and noticed the last time I used it the close cell foam pad I had inside my TQ foot box was a little damp the next morning. Is there a way to stop this from happening again?

I have used a Thermarest Sit Pad in my footbox with NEVER any condensation. Could be the ccf causing your dampness.
    I am hoping that helps.

Great video. I like the velcro on the doors. Seems really handy to regulate the heat and allow some airflow.
