AR > Arkansas Ozark Hang 2015 - March 13-15

OK,,, So I been thinking about it, sorry it took so long. We been going to Kyles Landing for many years now, so its time for a change.
This Year we are going to have it on the Mulberry River at Redding camp grounds. A lot more trees to hang from and a lot of camping areas. This area has floating, hiking, just a lot of great outdoors stuff... and yes, its open year round and has a bathroom...

The date is March 13th - 15th... I will be there on the 12th... the camp sites are 1st come gets it. $10. a day per site. 6 per site.
All are welcome and will be family friendly.

Directions: Off I40 take Hwy 23 at Ozark, go north. a little past the Mulberry River take 215 on right. a few miles down look for redding camp ground sign.

PotLuck is Saturday evening so if you have a dutch over,,, bring it or 2.

Yes, They do rent canoes and Kayaks.

Arghhh! Well, I'm gonna do my best and reallllly be nice to the wife. We are due on March 7th with our third. (first biological) We are hoping to be early already, but now I'm hoping even more. I'll have to let you know later.

Scratch that! The wife's not gonna be able to come. My 10 year old may be on the list though.

I camped there last march in a tent will try and make it this time in a hammock.

This area is easy to get in to. It doesn't have a steep descend like Kyles Landing...

I've missed my "hanging with Smokehouse" time. I'm marking the dates down on the calendar and we'll see what it looks like as it gets closer before I commit one way or the other. I love the Ozarks and the people, my biggest challenge is scheduling.
