    Love my Flight Jacket, but...

...I haven't had a chance to use it outside yet!!

My parents bought me a 20 degree Flight Jacket for Christmas - I wrote out exactly what and how to order it, and they showed up with it on Christmas Eve

I am extremely impressed with the build quality, and I love the way the fabric looks and feels. I went with Orange outside and Charcoal Grey on the inside - and my parents bumped it up to the 850 GGD on their own to make it a little lighter.

So far I've used it inside quite a bit - I discovered that opening it up so it is flat doesn't work real well when using it on a bed because the fabric is so smooth it just slides right off! Closing up the footbox slightly and using the snap at the top makes it stay in place perfectly. I did find that a 20 degree down blanket is pretty warm when sleeping inside... but I keep doing it anyway!

I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit - at least back into the double digits - so I can get outside and give it a try. Hoping to get outside next weekend - can't wait!

Anyway - big thank you to Paul for answering all of my questions when I was deciding on everything. You were right (no surprise) about the 78" length being plenty long, and I'm glad I went with the snap/drawstring footbox (so far, with no outside testing yet anyway ).

Anyway... great product from great people - thank you!

If you think it's warm inside, just wait until you get it outside!! I took mine down to -3 last night I'm sure the hot water bottles helped, but I'm still VERY impressed.

Opposite problem here , waiting for colder temps . I have the 0 degree Zeppelin and Flight Jacket with 850 GGD fill and they are toasty in the teens ! UGQ definitely makes awesome products .
