I can honestly say I can remember stretching my hammock that taught once or twice when I first started. Talk about shoulder squeeze!

Part 1 is truly enlightening in that respect. But hey, he's been doing it that way for close to 40 years, so more power to him.

Reminds me of the first night I spent in my HH bottom entry. I used a therma rest z pad that didn't want to cooperate in the tiny opening. After fighting for 30 minutes and what most resembled snoopy fighting with that chair in the Peanuts thanksgiving show. I was wore out and just slept with a cold back. Then I got serious studying here.

After watching this, I'm very tempted to change my HF and YouTube Handle to SpiritofTacoBell, SpiritofKentuckyFriedChicken, or maybe something generic like SpiritofAllYouCanEatBuffet.

I subscribed to his channel. Part 1 was very enlightening. I learned all about the optimal zero degree hang angle. After learning that new hammock suspension knot, the shoelace knot, I'm sure there are more nuggets of wisdom to be found!

Exhausting! Like my 1st 24F night ever in a hammock, a bottom entry HH, trying to get inside my mummy bag. I could not do it and I froze nearly to death.

2:48 I thought he was going down. Not trying to make fun of him, just an observation.
