Awesome Trip Report and the finishing dedication was heartfelt. Thanks for this report. I have been to Whitewater Valley and did some boating on Brookville Lake years back. It's nice to know that I can go an hour West, get out of Ohio, and find an awesome overnight trail with a strenuous section. Going to have to put it on my overnight hikes to accomplish list. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a nice place! I'll have to try this some weekend. Too bad you can't camp anywhere in the woods, but an overnighter in the campground gets the job done.
