That's really cool. I go deer hunting every year two miles up the road from White Wilderness. I hear the dogs fire up every morning when they go out to feed them. Some really nice country around there. It's about 25 miles south of Ely along the Stony River.
You were only about 25 miles from where the Minnesota Frozen Butt Hang was this last week.
Thanks for letting me know! I've just move up here from Germany last summer. Unfortunately I live in the desolate plains of ND, but seeing what there is to work with in the SNF area gives me hope for some hang time! I'll have to upgrade my gear to be able to take on this weather! I'm definitely in on the next one and have a few coworkers that hang as well; sounds like we're gonna make a group road trip! Again thanks for the tip off!
