0° Incubator and 0° Burrow set - how you packing?

As I anxiously wait on my 0° Burrow to arrive, I'm curious - what are backpackers packing these in?

Last weekend I packed my 0° Incubator/20° Burrow combo and was surprised how much room it ate up in my 65L pack. It worked, but it sure took up a lot of room. I'm also wondering if my load was too high because of all that down in the bottom.

My backtumors are all pretty big packs, so I'm rarely concerned with room, but to answer your question:

I line the pack with a trash bag, and put all my down insulation (and spare socks) in that. Sans stuff sacks.
"We are the greatest bulldozers to walk erect. Will we ever permit Mother Nature–truly our mother–to do her thing, undisturbed and unmarred? Will we ever be content to play a passively observant role in the universe, and leave off this unceasing activity? I do not wish man in control of the universe. I wish nature in control, and man playing only his just role as one of its inhabitants."

90L+ Thank god down doesn't weigh much. Don't forget you need room for your warm around camp cloths as well. Extra fuel bigger stove and food.

Yeah that's what I do. Here's my Atmos 65 pack from last weekend - stuffed pretty good.

The Jetboil Sumo on top really took up some room as well. Depending on how much bigger the 0° Burrow is, I may just switch packs...which leads into another thing for me. For some reason, once I get new gear I get spoiled (for lack of a better word) and never want to go back to the "old" or "heavy" gear even though it would work better. Stupid, I know. But my 90L Kelty would have been easier to pack.

I went this route with my 20 burrow and pheonix, including the socks and little fleece face mask I have been using. Going sans stuff sack made bigger difference than I had expected.
Considering I had been using a full size self inflating pad I kept inside the pack, i am still giddy about the space in my atmos 50 I have gained.

Just received my black/brick red 0° Burrow +1oz. WOW!!! I'm at work, but unpacked it in my Jeep so it could breathe. Crazy loft even right out of the stuff sack for a minute.

Pretty big! Not sure I'll be able to use my 65L pack with this and the 0° Incubator.

What would you estimate each 0 quilt compressing to? 15L

I'll have to look at this closer when I get home. But the sack my 0° Burrow just came in was probably close to 20L. I'm just going off memory comparing it to the 15L sack I use for food or clothing most trips.

My winter pack is my circuit from ULA. Set of 0* quilts. I don't use stuff sacks, I just stuff. I am able to get enough in for a 3 day, 2 night trip.

    I hope this is helpful.

I've still got my eye on some type of ULA pack. Can't seem to pull the trigger.
