Saw this in a camping mag. Heres the link to the website... Would this make any sense for hammock camping?

I have looked at these before. The concept is interesting, but the weight/bulk to temp ratio is not so good, IMHO.

If you watch www.outdoordaily.com they will periodically feature this as the deal of the day. There has been some talk of it on the forums but I haven't followed it very closely.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I know other people use Exped Wallcreepers in their hammocks. I am one of them, when the weather is above freezing. I love them for the ease and convenience, not necessarily for the warmth. And my 40* Wallcreeper packs down smaller and lighter than my NorthFace 40* Alleghany bag for spring/summer/fall hangs. Very similar concept, except the bottom of the Exped cinches shut with a drawstring, rather than those goofy looking gumby feet on the lippi. But I will admit, I have been intriqued, and would love to try one.
Did you also check out the "runaway alarm clock" at the bottom of the page?
I'm now stuck with this vision of me dressed like a puffy banana wildly chasing an alarm clock through the woods! A Youtube moment for sure!

The road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with weary feet, Until it joins some larger way, Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

What's the weight of that 40 degree wallcreeper? I got a great deal on a pair of Marmot Pounder 40 degree synthetic bags at an REI scratch-n-dent sale, but that wallcreeper is pretty interesting. As the name suggests, they weigh just about a paund each.

I am completely disinterested in the lippi selk bags. Really - what are ya gonna do if you're female and going out at 2 am to take a leak? You're gonna take it off anyway. Just picture it - (stop that guys!) - I mean, picture going out in the dark, wrestling out of it, being startled mid-leak and running away from the lion, bear, or boy scout half in and half out with the leg flopping around....
Do they make something to keep the feet of the thing from getting filthy and wet? Lippi Selk galoshes?
In all fairness, the pounder is VERY cold at 40 degrees. You probably wouldn't die but to call the 40 degree rating optimistic is putting it lightly. One of the reasons I'm interested in another 40 deg bag. The pounder is an awesome summer bag, though!
