How much snow is out there on the ground?

Over 2' on the ground, that trail area gets a lot of snowmobile traffic so it's typically pretty packed down. I may venture back there this Sunday, if I do I'll let you know the conditions.
The great thing about my job is that I can make anything "on the way home". I spun by the trailhead and the road to Dacy is definitely closed until spring.

Oh how I wish it were warmer. It's a little toooooooooo cold for me to venture out quite yet.
I was back country skiing in that area Sunday and made a stop at Dacy Clearing. It looks like you guys will be traveling on well traveled snow mobile trails all the way in to Fishbrook. I hope these crazy overnight lows moderate for you. Should be a great trip.

That's what their calling for, then single digit lows Saturday. Warming closer to normal temps Sunday. Forecasts beyond two days out are usually guesses here...it may change as you get closer.
