Dutch Oven Cobbler Recipe:
1 box yellow or white cake mix
2 cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup OR 1 can dark pitted cherries and 1 can apple pie filling
1 stick of butter
Cinnamon

Line a 10-inch Dutch Oven with foil to assist with clean up. Dump in the fruit. Dump in the cake mix. Do not stir or mix, but spread the cake mix out so that it's even and covers the fruit. Drop a stick of butter on top. Sprinkle with as much cinnamon as you'd like.

Cook with a ring of coals on top and about half as many plus one or two on the bottom for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on weather (temperature and wind). It's done when it is no longer "soupy" on top. Remove from heat and cool a few minutes before serving. Goes best with vanilla ice cream.

Great time out, I enjoyed the fellowship Friday Night! Looking forward to some more, wish I could have hit the trails there Saturday. With all the pines and maples creakin and crackin Saturday night at home, imagine you guys had quite the night!
