Hello!

I have just bought myself and my girlfriend a pair of Hennessy Hammocks (ExplorerDeluxe and Scout) and can't wait to get out in them! I enjoy getting out for weeks away, escaping the rat race (and people) and getting back to nature. Most recently, I camped in the wilderness across the Isle of Skye and totally fell in love. It was mainly beach camping, so not a lot of trees, but we're moving to Western Europe in the spring where the Hammocks should really come into their own.

I think the whole hammock movement is a great thing and will change the way people camp and think about getting away. I'm a little stumped about where to store kit once making camp, but I'm sure I'll find plenty of posts here full of ideas. Looking forward to years of use and totting up the countries I visit.

Boomer, I think the op is referencing what we in the states call "stuff" :-)

I would, and am, consider what folks call a gear hammock for my "stuff".
