This is probably a long shot but does anyone know if the campground (trailer sites) has wifi? My wife and I are still in class and need to log in to our school sites. We can sometimes tether to our phones but that's hit and miss.

In a previous post, I think Donna said almost no cellular coverage.

No...no WIFI. If you have something that can be a hot spot, you might be able to get cell coverage somewhere...but that will be spotty at best. I am going to try at my campsite...I can text there...but can't not call without alot of breaking up.

Edit: Tethering to the phone is the same as a hot spot I guess!

Last year, I drove north to the Panera Bread and sat outside and used the WIFI.

The main items to include would be:
    Saturday breakfast 8am-9:30am
Park History Walking Tour (Meet at Furnace stack) 2:30pm
Dinner (Pig Roast/Pot Luck) at Pavilion 5:30pm
Raffle and Closing announcements following Dinner

There are opportunities available throughout the day to tour the hang sites and gather info on hammock setups but at this point there is not an official "tour guide" or time set to do so.

FYI, I will bring my Caldera cone making stuff for anyone needing a cone for their pot on Saturday 10am.
Ok, consider it done! If there are any additions or changes, I can make right up to Friday morning. Best is to email me if anyone mentions something I have missed.

I just sent you an e-mail with a breakfast time update...did you get it?

I'm hustling to get my school work done right now. I'm trying to figure out whether I want to to take my final now or after the weekend is over.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier - I totally missed this page of the thread and just saw this! Thanks for responding, Doogie! You were right on point. I am an a Assistant Organizer for a backpacking group and did post something about the hike in and the hang, 'cos there are always people in our group who have a ton of questions about hammock camping and want to get off the ground, and they are not "enlightened" enough to know about Hammock Forums

I posted that this is a MAHHA event. I also posted that if they attend, they are expected to contribute $ and food since the participants pay for the event!
