    Yes it will work.

    It wont be very easy to adjust/set up correctly (untying and tying the MSH to adjust position)

    A whoopie sling set up will be lighter, and easier to adjust.

    A cinch buckle system will be easier to adjust.

    How about this. Uses a strap and a continuous loop as mentioned, but is easy to adjust.

    Or you could just larkshead the end of a UCR or Whoopie behind the MSH knot and leave a large loop in the tree strap instead of using a toggle.






    I have used both of these methods to hang and neither has slipped once tightened by sitting in the hammock. For the record I weigh about 210.
