    Colorful webbing tree strats?

    Hi folks,

Does anybody know where I can buy rolls of colorful webbing? Essentially I'm looking for the exact same nylon or polyester types of webbing that are commonly used for hammock suspension but in colors like blue, yellow, red, or orange. Where I work black and camo blend in so well with the vegetation that it's easy to leave them behind.

I've looked at some industrial webbing but they seem a bit too heavy and stiff for hammock use.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    R

    Strapworks.com. They have it all....

While Strapworks does have a great selection of straps, just be careful as I found some of them to be on the slick side and would slip thru a cinch buckle unless I used a half hitch.

Be sure to check their clearance rack. Those "bright" colors and some strange patterns aren't always so popular so they end up heavily discounted. I bought a bunch of polyester webbing in kind of a maroon color for straps 2 years ago for something like $.04/ft. They also have some "grab bags" available that contain a bunch of random (usually unpopular) straps in various lengths and widths. Their regular prices and selection are great too.

Bright colors are not the norm when it comes to webbing straps since most polyester webbing is used for tie downs in the cargo industry and they don't care much about colors, only strength.
But as far as hammock straps, yellow, green, blue and red are the most common bright colors.
