My 114g LNT-compliant high strength and easy to use suspension.

21g Kevlar 1" tree strap (2000lb rated) at each end, 5' straps (made from 6' of tape), 42g for two.
    2 Dutch Clips, 18g total,
13g amsteel whoopie at each end, 26g
<4g whoopie hook at each end, 8g
    20g amsteel SRL, 20g

    114g or 4oz total.

With carbon toggles instead of Dutch Clips I was at 100g/3.5oz, but the Dutch Clips make the whole system so much easier to use. I could reduce the amount of Amsteel by switching out the whoopies to UCR. I could easily lose 10g from the SRL by switching to Dynaglide, or 14g with ZingIt. I could lose another 10g by replacing the Amsteel whoopies with Dynaglide whoopies.

I have other places to lose weight though.

How much experience do you have with Kevlar tape used in this manner?
I ask because one of the greatest downsides of Kevlar is its low durability. It's very strong for its weight, no question, but wears out easily.... Which may mean you use these straps for about 20-30 hangs, and then trash them as they get worn (hence unreliable as they may dump you on the ground any moment) and make new ones.
It seems a bit pricy proposition....

Kevlar is one of the most durable materials out there, highly resistant to abrasion, heat and chemicals. There's a reason why it is used in motorcycle clothing, bulletproof vests and fire protection. It's only weakness is UV, it will degrade about twice as quickly as polyester of the same thickness. For backpackers who typically only hang at night that isn't a major concern.

+1 Kevlar is the ideal for 1 inch straps that are low weight. I have 4 foot huggers that are rated for 2000 pounds and weigh about 1.1 ounce. I have seen no abrasion where the amsteel has been connected and they extremely tolerant to very extreme temperatures. They are good from -320 to over 800 degrees. Safe to say you will perish before your huggers. Lastly they don't absorb water and they are thin so they dry super fast. Keep them out of prolonged periods of sun as UV will reduce the weight rating by about half. They are not good for your back yard set up that sits out all summer, but as an ultralight hiking hammock suspension, they are fantastic.

Did I also mention it is very expensive, impossible to get, and tough to work with? The stuff is bulletproof though. You are really protecting the trees.

I made a pair of these 5 months ago right after genixia first introduced them.
Not exactly long term data but after about 8 hangs I see no wear issues at all.
My research revealed the same information as that done by Genexia and Dutch, degradation issues related to UV exposure only.
Since these are best suited for backpacking, where weight is a concern, I agree with Dutch that they are unlikely to get much UV exposure.

    I paid $30.94 for (2) 10 yard rolls at jamestowndistributors.com
