Summer Quilt: 3 season Yeti Versus 40 degree Phoenix?

I've made the PLUQ and it's okay. I have a Greylock 3 that I really like. I'm just contemplating a dedicated Summer quilt. I was thinking about a 40 degree quilt from Hammock Gear, but I've had another thought. The 3-season Yeti is 46" long. How would that work for a Summer quilt as far as venting. Would it be easier to vent the 3 season Yeti versus the 40 degree Phoenix since the Yeti is smaller when temperatures are in the upper 60s/low 70s?

With down underquilts I've never had to vent. When the temperature drops enough to want warmth, I've found my down UQs to be comfortable. I normally want some type of warm at about 68 to 70F; above that I tend not to use insulation under me except for whatever my top quilt provides. In short, my 20F JRB Greylock seems to work fine from 20 to 60s for me. I know others have mentioned venting, so hopefully some of those folks will also post.
