    Spindrift rivet issues

Is there anyone else who has had issues with the rivets on their spindrift? Specifically the one on the right side (if lying on you back), head end. It popped off the fabric

I know my angle is good so I don't think it's a too tight issue.

This is the second time this has happened to mine.

    Am I alone?

I'm going to set my new one up this weekend and I'll let you know how it goes. I actually just took the suspension apart and put it on my ridge runner last night, but haven't had time to set it up yet.

Same one on one of my spindrifts popped off. I sewed a small piece of nylon to the inside, burned a hole with my soldering iron and installed a new grommet.

I didn't get a chance to try mine over the weekend. Have you guys emailed Brandon? I'm curious what his thoughts are on this.

Three of the four corner grommets simply fell off of my Spindrift the first time I used it. I elected not to incur the cost and time delay of sending it back for Warbonnet to repair, so I installed all new grommets myself and made sure they were sealed hard on the slick fabric. Instead of using grommets, WB should have used sewn button holes but that is a manufacturing cost decision for Brandon to make...not me. I love how my Sprindrift functions, with or without grommets.

Where did you get your grommets?

Brendon will fix it, if I pay to send it back.

You can get a grommet kit at any home supply store cheaper that what your mailing costs will be to send back the Spindrift. It's easy to install.

One or two of the rivets came off on mine too. But I decided not to worry about it. Virtually no stresses there, in my opinion.
