BTW. Wall*Mart sells it in their fabric or crafts dept.
Thanks RSG.... I'll post how my seams turn out...

We don't sew ... we stick all together? I read already some tricks with more advanced adhesive technologies were sewing and a thread injector is not longer necessary. You need only an iron and a double faced adhesive tape to get a pretty good stick result.

Yeah I've used double faced adhesive tape too. It works ok on some material but doesn't stick at all to others.
This Fabric tac sticks to just about anything and in most cases once it's dry it's tough to pull apart. I can see a future without stitching for sure. I have tried a few adhesives on straps and can admit that some of them hold quite well. Nothing I would trust a customer to hang off of but someday I think it will happen.

So have you ever tried gluing the baffles in a quilt?

Got some by accident today while looking for something for my wife at Wal-Mart. Just happened to be next to this stuff. Bought it...tried it...love it! Really does a good deal to tame bias cuts and cat cuts from my limited tests on a new tarp. Thanks for sharing!

I bought some Fabric Tac at Joannes yesterday and used it on the Grizz Beak that I am making. Its acetone based (think nail polish) so use in a ventilated place. I like it because it is more of a gooey gel vs a liquid or something like shoe goo which is thick. If you take your time you can put a nice small bead down the hem and then roll. I got a nice 3/8 tight rolled hem. Give it a few minutes to set up before you start sewing, I was impatient and did get some ooze through each stitch.

I looked at Walmart, HobbyLobby, Michaels and my local sewing machine repair shop ( they look at me funny when I tell them its a thread injector ). None of them had the Becons in stock. Guess I will have to order it
