    GA > Appalachian Trail > March 14-19

    Hey Everyone,

I'm going to be heading south from frozen Minnesota and will be hitting the AT. My plan (which isn't much of one right now) is to start at the beginning and then hike north until the 19th and see how far I get. Thinking 15-20 miles a day. If there is any interest in joining me please post below and let me know

Sounds like fun, and while I'm not up to that hiking pressure, don't be surprised if you see me somewhere along the trail. I've been needing an excuse to see some trees.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Planning to put out around Standing Indian backcountry area? I assume you're starting at Springer? Any idea at what point you want to be that first day out?

I might be able to entertain meeting you at Woody Gap on Sunday and hiking with you until at least Hogpen Gap on Monday.

You will be about a month ahead of me, but there will be a good many thru hikers that will keep you company. Good luck! Keep us updated!

I'm not sure what time I'm going to hit the trail yet.

I figured that it'd be a good time to have thru-hikers to keep me company.... or me keep them company

Been watching your videos and reading your posts for a while. Glad to hear you have your sights set on the AT challenge.
I thought you just got married! Might be a bit difficult being away. Best wishes for sure.
