This one is our First Annual (hopefully) Powhatan (S) Hang and Work we will be doing trail work and building a kayak rack at Powhatan State Park on the James river. Cost is $10 but the reservations are closed. However, you can still sign up for the non reserved sites. There is discussion on the thread telling about how to do so. It is going to be fun, this hang has REALLY taken off.

This is our "Old Shenandoah Float/Hang" 3 days/2nights on the south fork of the Shenandoah River. No cost other than gas and you will be expected to help with the "car shuttle" set up. Another awesome hang opportunity.

This is not actually our hang, it is in NC, Near Raleigh, but we are trying to get board and meet up with our sister organization, Palmetto State Hangers. Plus, I have been to Smoked Butt, it is great and, if you do any paddleing, Falls Lake is awesome. I will be driving from Richmond if you are interested in a car pool.

FYI, we have a couple of openings at PowHaW. Someone had to back out due to work. Just thought I would let you know.
