I've been using the Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon Fiber Quick Lock Trekking Poles, about 1K miles on them and very happy. Never had any issues with the Quick lock", easy height adjustment from 23" to 53". Pair weighs 16 oz.

Never hiked to the enchanted forest ??
Wondering what it's like? How to get there?

    As promised...here's the video...
Special thanks to Scrambles for hiking along with us.

Want to try and practice your backpacking skills or
Contemplating taking along your llama, Sherpa, doggie, or kitchen sink?

You decide - Here's a video showing you every step of the way.
We fast-forwarded the video during the flatt(er) and easier parts of the trail.

The rest of the video shows every intersection, bridge, creek crossing and stride along the way. Oh, and all of the roots and rocks too.
    ... No, really !!

The hike up takes about 30-45 minutes while only carrying a daypack (includes a few brief rest stops). With extra gear - gear that you are used to carrying - Allow yourself an hour so you won't feel rushed - and so you probably won't run out of daylight.

I'll echo this! I have been using these poles and they're great. I think they are about $35 + tax at costco, but I didn't have a membership, so I just bought them on Amazon. The first year they made them, they were twist-locks, but the second year they made flick-locks, which is what I own and prefer.

I just put myself on the spreadsheet as thanks to tacoma and/or hotlips and the gang it looks like I'll have a ride! I'll be bringing some polish sausages, and buns. I have a pretty small pack, but is there anything else I can bring?

And thanks for that great video Loki!
