I thought that camping in the parking lots on the LSHT was not allowed. Am I wrong?

Some parking lots double as hunters camps.

Lenny is correct. Parking Lot #8 is a designated Hunter's Camp and once you see the layout its easy to tell that's its intended purpose. Its a great spot for baking butts and having a pot luck supper.

Sarge, I'm in. Maybe another one or two. I will brave that hike. Niederhoffer Lake is awesome. Looking forward to seeing the usual suspects.

People who do make the hike, I would recommend slack packing with a minimal amount of gear.

I'm in! I've plenty of butt to bake. I will plan on Thursday as this will be my first foray into LSHT, and I'd like to spend some time there. I'm in for the hike and Neiderhoffer Lake, and willing to help in whatever way I may be of most use. I look forward to meeting you guys that I haven't yet.

I am marking my calendar down for this. I've missed the last time, but I believe I was in on one of these adventures...

I don't have any old goat to boil up, but I might get something similar to bring for the luck of the pot.

I like the idea of slacking into to neiderhoffer... Or I can blaze another new trail to hidden Lake.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing from the crowd...

    Take it easy,
