Anyone else found that different hammocks sometimes changes what pillows are more comfortable?

+1 on down jacket.
I've always used my puffy or down jacket folded I to itself as a pillow. I bought a Hammock Gear pillow and like my down jacket better. :
Also, and inflatable neck pillow works too, but for me, the down jacket makes more sense because it's dual purpose and I bring it almost every trip anyway.
"Cogito; ergo sum."
I like to take the little stuff sack that came with my fleece sheets. I jam some clothes into that...it's really soft. And not terribly heavy.
There is no try, only do.
You could use a spreader approach. Grab a closed cell foam pad and cut it to the size that you need. Similar to the way we cut footpads for under our feet. Then you could use whatever pillow system you like best. If you get clever, you could figure a way to attach them together.
Good luck
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same
Thanks brianb, That sounds similar to Bladerunner'l idea above. I sounds like he's going to try it and see how it works. May go that route if he has good results.
What's the water you're on in your avatar?
You know you're looking at Hammock stores too much when you can say this:
So I was browsing a store and realized the AGG inflatable pillows looks the same as the 'Graham' pillow JRB sells here: http://www.jacksrbetter.com/shop/graham-flexair-pillow/
It does but quite a bit smaller. I wonder if one is measured inflated and the other flat.
I get 8x15 on the AGG pillow fully inflated. But it also weighe .9oz and the JRB weighs .6 oz. I'm guessing it's a different size.
Update: Here's the supplier for these: http://www.grahammedical.com/Product...tid=39&pid=115
And wooo-weeee are they making a profit... It's about $.70 for the small and $.86 for the large!
Good find! Assuming that's the price AG and JRB are buying them, AG's mark up is right in line with standard retail practices, JRB is priced far below. They should be selling the smaller size for $3 something. When cost per piece is under $1, margin should be somewhere around 80% in order to cover overhead. That is the cost of being able to buy a single piece and good customer service. Interesting though...They are intended to be disposable.
