I took a good dayhike with a great group of people the other day to Ricketts Glenn state park in PA. I have done the falls trail plenty in warmer months but this is the first time I have done it in the winter. The frozen waterfalls and steep frozen walls were a beautiful site to see. The hike was challenging, the park office requires you to have at least microspikes and an ice axe to go on the falls trail. Otherwise the trail is closed in the winter months.
