Well Wyoming turkey season starts mid-April. Is anyone else going to be out hanging and hunting? I have completely enjoyed the freedom to hike/hunt all day and being able to set up my camp where ever I can hang my hammock! Who else Hangs and Hunts?

I hang and hunt, hang and fish, and hang and work, sometimes all in the same trip!
Remember--Some People are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....
I might be this year. I used to be a member of a hunting camp with 5 members. The landowner below sold the property and we lost 113 acres of hunting land. The 2 owners are the only ones left to hunt the 5 acres they own. I might re-join and hike the 1 1/2 miles to the top of the mountain, hang and hunt in archery and early muzzleloader (October) and perhaps rifle (Late Nov) if weather permits.

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
...and as it harm none, do what ye will.
Definitely! I did this on a Colorado elk hunt last fall and it worked out great. Gearing up for spring turkey now
I will be making 2 11' nylond hammocks that convert into the Otter winter recliner ii to use this spring.
I'll be in northern MI for some turkey hunting mid-May. Not the best time or place to go, but it's sort of a tradition with me and my dad. Hanging in the piney woods right before the bugs come out. Usually warmer by then, but it snowed 1" two years ago and it was great!
I will be provided I ain't working OT by then.
I have been turkey hunting for years in the black hills of South Dakota. I haven't done it hanging yet, was really considering it this year. Anyone out there hanging in the hills while they Turkey hunt?

We're not talking about firearms we're talking about hunting. Could be archery gear for all you know.
I know there's a group that hunts Granger Lake and hangs in the primitive camp. Rat on here is one of their fearless leaders. Chasing feral hogs with sticks and strings yeehaw!!!
